Harvesting our very first olives after 30 years of neglect.
We have become the owners of an old wine estate in Provence. Along with the vineyards, we inherited an abandoned olive grove. For over 30 years, nobody had harvested the olives from these trees. It took us two days of hard work and plenty of effort, but what a joy it is to work our own land! We harvested nearly 100 kg of olives! We hope the oil will be delicious, and next year, after proper pruning and care, our olive trees will bear even more fruit.
