Domaine of La Meissonnière

Crafted exclusively from grapes grown on the estate, Rosé La Meissonnière reflects the freshness, softness, and quiet character of Provence.

Provençal Landscape

Warm Provençal days, cooler nights from the surrounding forests, clay-limestone soils, and Mediterranean light shape wines with freshness, delicate aromatics, softness, and a clean mineral finish.

Perhaps the last truly unique terroir in Provence

Quietly Preserved

Hidden between the Issole river and the hills of Var, Domaine de la Meissonnière remains isolated from intensive agriculture and modern development, preserving the unique character and balance of its landscape.

Shaped by the Land

Protected by the Issole river and the hills of Var, Domaine de la Meissonnière remains surrounded by forests, Mediterranean light, and cool evening air that shape the character of the vineyard and preserve the quiet rhythm of the estate.

Warm Provençal days and cooler nights from the surrounding forests allow the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly throughout the season. Combined with clay-limestone soils and the natural freshness of the valley, these conditions create wines with delicate aromatics, softness, balance, and a clean mineral finish that reflects the character of Provence.

Guided by Organic Practices

The vineyard is cultivated with care for the balance of the land and the rhythm of the surrounding environment.

Working closely with local growers, winemakers, and specialists who know the region best, we focus on preserving the freshness, balance, and character of each harvest. Through careful work in both the vineyard and cellar, we aim to let the estate itself shape the wine naturally, season after season.

Red Clover

Each spring, red clover spreads across the vineyard rows, becoming part of the landscape of Domaine de la Meissonnière. More than a seasonal detail, it plays an important role in the natural balance of the estate and reflects our organic approach to viticulture.

The clover naturally enriches the soil with nitrogen, helps preserve moisture during the warmer months, attracts beneficial insects, and suppresses weeds without the use of chemical treatments. By working with the rhythms of nature rather than against them, we aim to preserve the long-term health and character of the vineyard.
